Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Thotbot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
The Service
Thotbot is a specialized archival and backup tool designed to help you consolidate and preserve media from supported third-party platforms where you hold valid, active subscriptions.
You acknowledge that Thotbot acts solely as a technological proxy executing on your direct instructions. Providing authentication tokens authorizes the Service to access platforms on your behalf to retrieve content you are lawfully licensed to view.
We do not store, host, or reproduce creator media on our servers. Subscription content is streamed or downloaded directly from third-party networks or external storage providers.
Third-Party Access & Tokens
Certain external platforms utilize short-lived expiring authentication tokens. To ensure data continuity, you authorize Thotbot to automatically refresh these credentials on your behalf.
Revocation: To cease all automated token handling, delete the configured service integration from your dashboard settings. Removing the integration permanently discards associated session tokens.
Accounts & Security
Your email address is required for passwordless authentication and account recovery. Temporary throwaway emails may lead to permanent account loss.
We support FIDO2 WebAuthn passkeys. Because private keys never leave your physical device, maintain backups across hardware to prevent lockout.
Site administrators cannot modify your credentials, inspect unhashed tokens, or trigger unauthorized access on your behalf.
Unverified accounts without activity may be periodically cleaned up to minimize database footprint and maintain security.
Acceptable Use Policy
You explicitly agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Violation of these conditions constitutes grounds for immediate, non-refundable account termination.
Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features require an active paid plan. By subscribing, you authorize recurrent billing according to the selected tier.
Cost Structure: Subscription pricing reflects underlying operational expenditures (residential proxies, computational workers, and network bandwidth) and is subject to revision with reasonable notice.
Refund Policy: Payments are final. However, if verifiable technical defects prevent your access to platform functionality, our support team will review on a case-by-case basis.
Privacy & Data Minimization
Your usage is governed by our Privacy Policy. We adhere strictly to data minimization principles, never persisting raw IP addresses or behavioral tracking profiles.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Thotbot disclaims liability for upstream platform downtime, API deprecations, or content removals enacted by third-party creators or host platforms.
