Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Thotbot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

The Service

Thotbot is a specialized archiving tool designed to help you consolidate and back up content from supported third-party platforms where you hold valid, active subscriptions.

Role as User-Agent You acknowledge that Thotbot acts solely as a technological agent acting on your direct command. When you provide authentication tokens, you authorize the Service to access third-party platforms on your behalf to retrieve content you are legally entitled to view.

No Content Hosting We do not store, host, or reproduce any creator content. Subscription content is streamed or downloaded directly to you from the respective third-party platform or external file hosts. We do not have the technical ability to recover, restore, or delete any files once they have been viewed or retrieved through the Service.

Third-Party Access & Tokens

Some external services utilize expiring authentication tokens. To ensure data integrity and service continuity, you authorize Thotbot to periodically renew these tokens on your behalf, even if your subscription to the Service has lapsed.

Revocation: To strictly cease all automated activity from Thotbot on your behalf, you must fully remove the configured service credentials from your account settings. Deleting the service integration is the only way to guarantee no further token renewals or access attempts will be made.

Accounts & Security

Registration
You acknowledge that your email address is the primary method of account recovery. You should use a permanent email address, the use of temporary or "throwaway" emails may result in permanent loss of access to your account.
Inactive
Accounts that are registered but never verified or used may be automatically deleted to maintain system hygiene.
Staff Access
To ensure account integrity, site staff strictly cannot modify your email address, add/remove credentials, or perform actions that would grant anyone access to your account.
Security
If you utilize Passkeys, we strongly recommend backing them up if your hardware or platform permits, as we cannot recover lost keys.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

✕ Use the Service to distribute, share, or pirate content. Content is for personal archival use only.

✕ Access content you do not have a valid license or subscription for.

✕ Attempt to abuse, harm, or reverse-engineer the Service infrastructure.

Violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination.

Subscriptions & Payments

Features of the Service may require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

Cost Structure: Subscription fees are determined by the real-world operational costs required to securely deliver the Service. Because these underlying costs can fluctuate, pricing is subject to change.

Refund Policy: All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. However, if you experience a verifiable technical issue that completely prevents you from accessing your active subscription, please contact us for assistance.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We prioritize data minimalism and do not store IP addresses or activity logs.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. Thotbot disclaims all liability for the availability, uptime, or content of third-party platforms. You use the Service at your own risk.
